Facing the changes

Derek turns five on Sunday. I can hardly believe that my son is going to be five. I never, in my mind when he was born, pictured him beyond the age of four. Now he's five. I didn't ever think about how discipline would have to change. I never considered how life would change. He is in his first year of school, Pre-K, he goes five days a week half a day from 12:30-3:00. He loves it! My life has changed though. I can't believe how much went on in the five years since I had Derek, we have also had Sarah and Nathan. My goodness how time flies and how life changes. Its the adding on of children that changes who you are and who you turn out to be. I can't say I miss the Cindy who had no children and who had no responsibilities. If she was here there would be no kids. My life would be void if there were no kids. Thank you Heavenly Father for the gift of change you have given me.
