Love's First Bloom a book review

I have joined a mailing list and received free books from Bethany House publishers to review. Love's First Bloom is one of the books I have received. Love's First Bloom is a book full of lies. Its amazing how a little lie to protect yourself and others you love can really turn out to be so harmful. Ruth and Jake lie and lie about who they are, its really for the good though, right? As they relationship builds as the outside world intrudes on them the lies continue to grow. It is not without heartache and despair that the truth is revealed and worlds are rocked. Can their love find a way through the lies and survive?

Book Review: A Rush Of Wings- Kristen Heitzmann

Kristen Heitzmann's novel a Rush of Wings was a good read. Noelle St. Claire is on the run look for refuge away from her pampered life. Something happened to trigger her fear but she has not collected all the images in her mind to piece them together and make everything whole again. She runs from her life in New york that involves her devoted yet controlling father, a loving yet dictating fiance. To a ranch in the Rocky mountains that contains the friendships and love that she needs to be able to put her life into perspective and whole again. She finds more than she bargained for because of God's love which casts out fear and the love of a man which heals human wounds.

Book Review

I am still reading books sent to me by Bethany House Publishers for review. The latest book I read was titled "Hatteras Girl" written by Alice J. Wisler. It all happens in North Carolina's Outer Banks. Alice does a fantastic job of making you feel like you are right at the beach with her descriptions. The story is about love, love of a bed and breakfast, love of the beach, love of Hatteras, and the finding of true love that comes from the most obvious of places but is most often overlooked friendship. Jackie the main character sorts through real life issues and finds true love in a true friend. It was so down to earth and real that I enjoyed this book and the plain everyday characters that make life so interesting.
