Derek turns 4

I can hardly believe that my son is four. I never dreamed I would see my kids past the age of four. For some reason I always believed that the Lord would return before they were four or something. But here we are and Derek is now four. I love my little son he is such a good boy. Right now he and Sarah are playing restaurant and they are making strawberry juice and calzones for each other in the kitchen. We had a pizza party at Vincenzo's which is a new restaurant that opened in Sherman. The owner is one of the members at our church and a good friend of our family. I was able to help him wiht his restaurant by making his menu for him and he has been very generous to our family. When then came home to our home and had a Diego cake. I wasn't planning on a Diego cake I was hoping to Bambi but we couldn't find any party supplies to do Bambi. We found supplies for Diego and so that is what we did. He got nice toys and games we have been playing Hungry Hungry Hippos and Guess Who? non-stop for the last few days! We only had family in the forms of My Parents, brother and his wife, and my in-laws. It was a great time and we all had a lot of fun. Derek got to eat lunch between his grandmothers and they all were very happy. So he is four and will begin school next year. Crazy I know but all in God's plan for us to grow up, yes!
